When the Chinese cinema company, QiCai Cinema, finally reopened their doors after six months of closure due to COVID-19, there were serious concerns about customer safety. Something had to be done to help reduce the risk of infection in this closed space.

As Italian authorities frantically worked to manage the outbreak of COVID-19, OSRAM stepped in to help, donating twenty-four AirZing 5040 UV-C light fixtures to the logistics base of the field hospital in Bergamo.
